Hello! I’m Shohn. I am an IB graduate from ESF Island School and currently in HKU majoring in mechanical engineering. With over a year of experience tutoring IB, IGCSE and MYP students in learning centers across Hong Kong, and having achieved 44/45 points in IB myself, I offer personalized teaching for subjects including Mathematics, Physics and Design Technology, for all levels based on the secondary international school curriculum. Basic Introduction I have taken IBDP in high school at Shanghai Shangde Experimental School and obtained 41/45 in the finanl exam. Tutoring Experience UZH: Analysis for natural sciences I helped a student to prepare for the repetition exam for analysis for natural sciences at UZH, which is a first-year mathematics course offered to student from other science departments. The topics include vector arithmetic, differential and integral calculus, differential equations, and functions of several variables. As a tutor, I explained topics from the textbook, demonstrated necessary tricks to solve problems, giving feedbacks on a student performance, and predicted the topics that might occur in the repetition exam. IB MATH IA SL Tutoring: I also have tutoring experience in IB mathematics IA SL, where we have covered the majority topics of the course. I am helping a student to prepare for the mock exam by offering zoom tutoring.
